Practice Makes Practice
We at AFRI review a good number of grant proposals, the majority of which are worthy of being funded. While it’s great to issue a grant, there’s a wish we could do more. For this reason, we’re celebrating our one-year mark by highlighting four past applicants we didn’t fund, but came really close to funding. People with great ideas and energy; ideas we were inspired by and think about often.
There’s a theme to the night, Practice, which we’ve asked these fine folks to interpret however they like. Pecha Kucha PVD is bringing four presenters to the stage, too. We have no idea what they’re going to talk about. Will be awesome.
