A great, simple idea: Each month, gallerist and art writer Michael Rose of New England Art News invites artists to gather at a local bar. These meet ups are a casual way for creatives, particularly those who are emerging, to connect and meet one another with Michael acting as a facilitator. Open to all 21+, there is no cover and there will be a cash bar. Myrtle has great mocktails, too!

For April’s hangout, Awesome Foundation Rhode Island is helping spread the word. Ben Sisto, the custodian of AFRI, will also be around to chat and answer any questions folks might have about the application process. After our hang, stick around Myrtle for The Strange Bird Variety Show, too.
